- What is a Life Coach | Alexandre-michael
What are the differences between a Therapist and a Life Coach? Read about how they vary from each other, the different types and fields of coaches, their education, certificates, and much more. What is a Life Coach? “Strength comes from struggle. When you learn to see your struggles as opportunities to become stronger, better, wiser, then your thinking shifts from ‘I can’t do this’ to ‘I must do this’.” – Toni Sorensen About me Understanding Coaching - What makes you happy or drives you? - What are your dreams & ambitions? - What do you want to achieve in your life? - What are your struggles & concerns in life? These are just a few of the reflective questions to discuss with a life coach. “A bird sitting on a tree is never afraid of the branch breaking, because its trust is not on the branch, but on its own wings. Always believe in yourself.” – Charlie Wardle. We are all capable of far more than we know, but trusting in yourself isn’t always a natural instinct. Learning to believe in your own abilities will give you the confidence to overcome many challenges. A Life Coach will help you discover your strengths, struggles, and work through troubles that may be hindering you from reaching and obtaining your goals and inspirations in life. Always believe in yourself.” – Charlie Wardle. Although most people are familiar with the term "life coaching," the field of coaching encompasses several unique specializations. In addition to general life coaching, there are dozens of other coaching categories that capture the most common personal and professional goals. The following list contains some of the most common kinds of coaching: Coaching Vs Therapy What are the differences? Coaching vs. therapy: Do you need a coach, a therapist, or both? “Your vision will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakens.” Carl Jung, psychiatrist We’re all on a journey. However, the journey to self-actualization isn’t linear, nor can it be easily categorized. We are all on a path of learning and self-discovery, where we explore our direction, relationships with family and those around us, our careers, interests, hobbies, beliefs, and faith in the world around us. We each bring a unique perspective, background, and experience to our own journey of personal growth and development. At different times and stages, we require different types of support. Oftentimes, this depends on what is happening in our lives and what we’re trying to accomplish. Sometimes we’re bettering, sometimes we’re surviving, sometimes we’re struggling. You may be seeking support for yourself, trying to support a team member, or an entire organization. However, when it comes to finding the proper support, it helps to understand what support entails. For many, it starts with this question. What’s the difference between coaching and therapy? Coaching versus therapy may appear to be a binary distinction. It can feel like a forked road, a choice that leads you down a singular path. However, when we examine the differences between coaching and therapy, there are several gray areas. It’s not as clear-cut as it seems. In fact, paths can cross. Paths can intersect and work in tandem with one another. And sometimes, you can hop off one path and follow the other. Oftentimes, these paths lead to the same destination: a better you. Coaching vs. therapy Therapists are trained mental health professionals with the goal of treating mental illness. We know that mental health is a spectrum. Some people exist in more severe areas, while others are experiencing moderate or mild symptoms of mental health issues. Regardless of where you are on the scale, if you’re living with a mental illness, enlist the support of a therapist. A trained therapist will be able to help devise a personalized mental health care plan for you, refer you to a psychiatrist if the patient is in need, or request medication, and so on. What can make this more confusing is that both psychologists and licensed mental health counselors, also known as life coaches, may provide therapy or be referred to as therapists. Therapists require more education and credentialing Because psychotherapy requires medical professionals to diagnose and treat mental health problems, there are additional licensing requirements. This is another key difference between a coach and a therapist. Psychotherapists generally have to pass licensing boards, some of which are specific to the state in which they practice. Therapists and psychotherapists typically hold higher levels of professional education, such as a master’s degree or a doctorate. Some are licensed clinical social workers, like my therapist. While each training program differs based on specialization, therapists require higher credentials. Most coaches are trained, licensed professionals There are many types of coaches. Don’t worry: professional coaches don’t go without professional training. But there are different credential requirements (and governing bodies) when it comes to the world of coaching. Coaches are professionally trained and certified by various colleges and will hold certifications in their training and studies from accredited schools. Most will have business licenses that cover their practices as well. But coaching is not a substitute for therapy. Coaching can certainly feel like a therapeutic relationship. After all, you're working one-on-one to solve your problems. But if you’re living with a mental health condition, also seek out the support of a therapist. Many coaches will maintain a local resource list to provide and help their clients find assistance and support for surrounding therapists and/or psychiatrists. More Coming Soon I will be adding more information soon on different types of Coaches and how they can help patients. Be sure to check back!

Browse our pictures and videos of them growing, as well as their training, showcasing their talents and tricks! Our Cat Albums - Our current Sires - Dames - Previous Litters Photo Albums Of Our Ragdolls Our current Sire Hephaestion Age: 8 months Seal mitted bicolor with a blaze Leash trained, loves other animals & children. Goes on adventures, very curious, and loves kisses and trying to nurse on your eyeballs lol Past Dames Marie Age: 16 years Cream Bicolor - 5 year pedigree - Champion Papers from Alaskaz Ragdolls in Anchorage, Alaska Marie was born in Alaska. Her father was a champion Cream Minx Ragdoll, & her mother was a Blue Bicolor. Marie is now retired but she has had many beautiful litters with Louie. She acts like a queen, & loves her snuggles & attention. Past Sires Louie Age: 16 years Seal Bicolor - Papered with CFA & born in Eureka, Alaska Louie was toilet-trained, didn't need a leash, and followed us everywhere. He traveled all over America, went swimming, shopped & traveled all over North America. He loved going through the drive-thru to get cheesy tator tots, ice cream cones, and loved the oddest foods. He enjoyed Twizzlers, Doritos chips, Skittles, beef jerky, peanut butter & popcorn. (We obviously didn't let him eat junk food on the regular, but a little as a treat) We always let him explore what he wanted, and included him in everything. He was the most curious cat, and had such a lust for life. His story is very fascinating & he was a true inspiration. He was a runt, and his mother passed away giving birth due to complications, so we got him at 4 weeks old. We had to bottle feed him & give him special attention. After rescuing him, I developed a lifelong obsession with Ragdolls. Because of him, I looked up the breed and wanted to learn everything there was to know about them. He was my little angel and best friend until he passed away from cancer at 16 years old. :( He learned to speak many words, roll over on command, to pounce on someone or another animal on command, and to bring things to me when I asked. He was a thief, though, and loved taking things he liked and would hide them in a nest he made in my bed's box spring. He was a hoarder. lol We would regularly see him packing things around the house to get you to play with him, or he would bring you something he found interesting and wanted to share with you. He brought you gifts, or you would catch him stealing someone's socks or items, and on the run to his secret lair. He loved all animals, insects, reptiles, you name it. He never killed anything, and wanted his own pets and friends. He would adopt lizards or praying mantises & ask me if we would keep them. So I had to get cages and tanks for him, which pleased him greatly. He would pet them and gently touch them with admiration. He would adopt every baby he could, no matter the species, and even bathed them and comforted them. He was an inspiration to me and everyone who met him. He gave me such peace, admiration, and inspiration, especially when I needed it & came from such a dark past. He gave me back hope in humanity and the world. That such a little creature could show such compassion and enthusiasm, and have such a lust for life. He was smarter than this world gives animals credit for, and he showed everyone he met that. He will always have my heart & be in my memories. In the beginning Once we adopted Louie, we became so close to him that it sparked our interest in the breed. He was unique from any cat we have ever had, so we just HAD to learn everything we could about them. Once Louie got older, we didn't want him to have a life without love. That's when we started studding him out and went looking for a female companion. Louie had a few girlfriends before Marie who were Siamese Sisters, but we wanted Louie to have a forever partner. So we ended up making a deal with another Cattery in Alaska & we adopted Marie. We started getting more invested in Ragdolls & we decided to become a small Cattery in Alaska. We did that with Louie & Marie until we retired them. Years after Louie's passing, we decided to get back into breeding, this time in California, where we now live. The joy it brought to not only us, but our fur babies was such a wonderful and fulfilling experience, we had to do it again. Plus, we can't have Hepheastion miss out on finding the love of his life like Louie did with Marie. :) We make sure our cats and kittens have the best lives possible. Animals are no different from humans to us, and we treat them with as much respect and kindness as we would another person. So, our babies are always raised with a lot of love from the very beginning of their lives. We have a decorated nursery room dedicated to litters & the early weeks of litters. :) Previous Litters & Cats Phephe is Louie & Marie's daughter, whom my son & Eric adopted. She comes on visits to California with them from Louisiana. :) More Photos Coming Soon! Text 951-303-4749 Email AlexandreMichael137@gmail.com Follow

History of Voodoo, stories, pictures, and legends. Handmade one of a kind dreamcatchers. Each one is handmade and unlike any other. - Tests & World Zodiac Signs | Alexandre-Michael
Read about personality tests and other zodiacs, then follow the links to take the test and see your signs! Tests & Quizzes - Personality Types - World Zodiac - Astrology Charts "To know thyself is power" Personality Tests Where personality tests began, and who created them Before we delve into the types of tests you may want to consider, it’s worth understanding how they emerged. Let’s take a look at the history of assessing personalities. Believe it or not, the origins of the personality test can be traced back to the First World War. Charles Myers, a doctor with the Royal Army Medical Corps, documented a case of a 23-year-old soldier who was suffering from ‘shell shock'. While the condition of shell shock would later be better understood as Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), the work Myers conducted created a system that would come into widespread use by the US Army. Fast-forward to 1918, and a telegram to the War Department read: “Prevalence of mental disorders in replacement troops recently received suggests urgent importance of intensive efforts in eliminating mentally unfit from organizations new draft prior to departure from the United States.” “It is doubtful whether the War Department can in any other way, more importantly, assist in lessening the difficulty felt by Gen. Pershing than by properly providing for an initial psychological examination of every drafted man as soon as he enters camp.” By this point, the U.S. Army already had neuro-psychiatry and psychology divisions alongside a school of military psychology within the Medical Officers Training Camp. That led to more than a million newly recruited soldiers having psychological assessments. Robert Sessions Woodworth, a Columbia professor, created what would later become the Woodworth Personal Data Sheet for draftees. The brief test consisted of a series of yes-or-no questions that helped to determine each soldier’s traits and psychological state. The widespread use of personality tests during the First World War sparked intrigue in the labor sector. While the theory behind the original assessments was that psychologists could use them to determine whether an individual was suffering from shell shock, it became clear that these tests could reveal more about each individual. Employers soon began using tests to avoid hiring job applicants with neurotic tendencies who were likely to cause trouble in the workplace. However, as the working world advanced, employers saw the value in using such assessments to delve into the characteristics of employees’ personalities. One example is the Bernreuter Personality Inventory, which was published in 1931. The assessment evaluates characteristics such as neurotic tendency, self-sufficiency, introversion or extroversion, and dominance or submission. -Myers Briggs First up, let’s take a look at one of the most famous personality tests. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator was originally developed by Isabel Briggs Myers and her mother, Katharine Briggs. The system is used to identify different personality types based on participants’ answers to a series of questions about their typical behaviors and reactions to given situations. The results are given as an acronym of one of the 16 types of personality the test assesses. For example, “The Protagonist” is otherwise known as an “ENFJ.” An ENFJ result represents that the test taker has Extraverted, Intuitive, Feeling, and Judging personality characteristics. While possessing “The Performer” personality, also known as an “ESFP,” means that the test taker has extraverted, sensing, feeling, and perceiving as their dominant personality characteristics. Within the modern world of business, the Myers Briggs Type Indicator is often used in various sectors to work out which candidates will be a good fit for specific roles. Now, these days you can find a lot of small online quizzes about personalities, but those are quickly made and just for fun. There are more serious tests out there that aren't in the same category. Below I've added a link to an easy-to-use website to take a quiz if you're interested in learning yours! 16 Personalities Quiz - Take Test Chinese Zodiac -There are different zodiacs in different regions of the world with the same basic principles The Chinese Zodiac consists of the rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, goat, monkey, rooster, dog, and pig. The Mayans believed the universe was divided into three parts: the starry heavens above, the stony middle ground of earth, and the watery underworld below. Mayan Horoscope - Your Sign Vedic Astrology Vedic astrology, also known as Jyotish, is an ancient Indian system of astrology that uses the positions of celestial bodies to predict the future, understand personality, and guide decision-making: Origin Vedic astrology is based on the Vedas, the oldest sacred texts of Hinduism, and originated 3,000 to 4,000 years ago. The term "Vedic" comes from the Sanskrit word Vedas, which means "knowledge". Beliefs Vedic astrology is based on the belief that the positions of stars and planets have a powerful influence on human lives and that karma is linked to these positions. Methods Vedic astrology uses a sophisticated calculation process that tracks planets using stars or constellations and takes precession into account. It also draws from Ayurveda, another sister science. Uses Vedic astrology can be used to understand all aspects of life, including marriage, moving, business ventures, and future success. History Vedic astrology was originally used by kings and rulers to determine the best time to go to war. In my opinion, I've found Vedic Astrology to be morte accurate because it is more updated to where the planets and stars are today; Which changes over time. Western Astrology works on an outdated system, so it is no longer as accurate. - About Our Cattery | Alexandre-Michael
Learn where & how we started our cattery, how we run, about the breed, & our passion for Ragdolls. About Our Cattery - Where we originated - How we run - Our passion for Ragdolls - About the breed Dauphin Ragolls The parents and all the kittens are raised at my home. They are introduced to kids and other house pets to get them comfortable at a young age. They are dewormed each week and played with every day to ensure a friendly and affectionate kitten. :) -About the Breed Wikipedia~ In the 1960s, a regular non-pedigreed white domestic longhaired cat named Josephine, who had produced several litters of typical cats, was injured in an accident involving a car and taken to a laboratory at the University of California. Josephine was of a Persian/Angora type, sired by several unknown male Birman or Burmese-like cats, one of which had the Siamese point coloration. After she recovered, her next litter produced exceptionally friendly kittens, which Baker claimed was a result of a secret government genetic experiment on Josephine (a claim rejected by genetics experts). When the subsequent litter produced more of the same, Mrs. Ann Baker (an established cat breeder) purchased several kittens from the owner, who lived behind her, and, believing she had something special, set out to create what is now known as the Ragdoll. The breed was selectively bred over many years for desirable traits, such as large size, gentle demeanor, and a tendency to go limp when picked up, as well as the striking, pointed coloration. Out of those early litters came Blackie, an all black Burmese-like male, and Daddy Warbucks, a seal point with white feet. Daddy Warbucks sired the founding bi-color female Fugianna, and Blackie sired Buckwheat, a dark brown/black Burmese-like female. Both Fugianna and Buckwheat were daughters of Josephine. All Ragdolls are descended from Baker's cats through matings of Daddy Warbucks to Fugianna and Buckwheat. Baker, in an unusual move, spurned traditional cat breeding associations. She trademarked the name "Ragdoll," set up her own registry—International Ragdoll Cat Association (IRCA)—and enforced stringent standards on anyone who wanted to breed or sell cats under that name. The Ragdolls were also not allowed to be registered in other breed associations. In 1975, a group led by Denny Dayton broke ranks with IRCA, intending to gain mainstream recognition for the Ragdoll. This group eventually developed the Ragdoll standard currently accepted by major cat registries. In 1994, a second group decided to leave the IRCA and form their own group due to increasingly strict breeding restrictions. This group later established the Ragamuffin breed. Because Baker owned the rights to the name "Ragdoll", no offshoot groups could call their cats Ragdolls until the trademark on "Ragdoll" was not renewed in 2005. The defining characteristic of the original Ragdoll is its docile temperament and tendency to go limp when picked up, thought to be due to a genetic mutation or passed down from the Persian and Birman breeds. This has led to the myth that Ragdolls are pain-resistant. Some breeders in Britain have tried to breed away from the limpness due to concerns that extreme docility "might not be in the best interests of the cat." Still, they are generally considered gentle and laid-back animals. The Ragdoll has a sturdy body with a large frame and proportionate legs. A full-grown female weighs 8-15 lbs, while males are substantially larger, ranging from 12 to 20 lbs.[2] The genes for point coloration are also responsible for the blue eyes of the Ragdoll. More intense shades of blue are favored in the show ring. While the breed has a plush coat, it consists mainly of long guard hair, and the lack of a dense undercoat results in, according to the Cat Fanciers' Association, "reduced shedding and matting".[6] Ragdolls come in 6 different colors - seal, chocolate, flame, and the corresponding "dilutes" blue, lilac, and cream. - The Patterns & Colors There are three different patterns: * Pointed - One color darkening at the extremities (nose, ears, tail, and paws) * Mitted - Same as pointed, but with white paws and tummy. With or without a blaze (a white line on the face), * Bicolor — White legs, white inverted 'V' on the face, white tummy, and often white patches on the back. Many people are unfamiliar with the breed "Ragdoll," and even those who know about it often lack detailed knowledge. Some people even think they are just some mix of Siamese. But... they are far from common, and very wonderful cats. What makes them different than all the other cat breeds? - Other Characteristics Of The Breed 1# They don't shed. They have only one coat in their fur, which allows little or no shedding. Unlike other medium to long-haired cats. Many people buy Persians or other long-haired breeds because they are so soft, and their fur is so beautiful. But...they shed very badly. I've owned a few Persians, and when you touch them, a cloud of fur flies into the air and then into your nose. But with Ragdolls, you get that, but without the shedding. 2# They go limp when you hold them. Like cuddling your cats? Have kids who try to pick them up but get scratched? Ragdolls let you carry them anyway you like. They love hugs, being held on their backs, sides, or any other part of their body. They are the calmest cats you will ever see. 3# Bringing them to the vet, town, or family house? For most cats, it's a nightmare to bring them in the car to the vet, much less on a leisure trip. Ragdolls enjoy rides. In fact, they follow you to the door and try to come with you every time you leave. My cat gets in his carrier by the door when we are about to leave. =) You bring them, and they purr, let anyone they see pet them. You can hold them however you like, and even noises that range from carts at the grocery store to cars passing by won't bother them or make them jump out of your arms when they hear them, unlike most cats. Trip to the vet? Ragdolls have a theory that they are pain-resistant. They barely react to much pain (shots, microchips, etc.) They just lay there and watch it happen. They are so easy to care for! -How do they react to other animals? 4# Do you have trouble getting your cats to get along with other household animals? Ragdolls think everyone is a playmate! They are sweet and playful with other pets. 5# Like puppies or want a pet that will hang out with you and can take to the park? Ragdolls are known to act like puppies! They follow you from room to room. Sit next to you, and sleep by you! If you're in a room, they are right there with you. Like taking your pets to the park? I bring mine to the park, and he doesn't even need a leash. He just follows me around and plays beside me. (I wouldn't be too comfy without a lease, because kids might try and pick them up, or anything could happen. Just like a dog. So, a leash would probably be a good idea in public.) They love a leisure trip and being with their owners. 6# They are quiet. Their meows are soft and sweet. And they only say something when they need to. - Are They Pretty? 7# Pretty cats? Ragdolls are known for their bright China Blue eyes. And beautiful coats. Their fur resembles a rabbit's, with a pattern and colors consisting of points. They are darker around the ears, feet, face, and tails. Colors can range from creme, seal, chocolate, blue, lilac, and flame points. The rest of the body is lighter. Usually a cream or white. Some have a mix of both. So they make beautiful Cats! - What Are Their Size? 8# Cats are too small? Ragdolls range from 10-15 lbs for a female and 15-30 lbs for a male. So they are BIG cats. -All Ragdolls are pointed cats. They have color on their ears, faces, legs, and tails, with a lighter contrasting body color. They are usually white or cream. Colors~ * Seal ~ siamese print and color * Blue creme ~ blueish points with creme * Frost ~ light point colors * Chocolate ~ a bit lighter than seal at the points, or dark in the center of the point then fades to a lighter chocolate color. * Tortie ~ Torties can have a variety of colors. A mix of them at the points * Chocolate-Tortie Lynx * Lilic Creme ~ Lilac Points with Creme color in the body * Lilic Point * Red Creme Point ~ a light redish point with Creme in the body * Creme Point * Blue Lynx * Blue Point ~ Blueish points Patterns~ * Colorpoint ~ feet, face, ears, and tail have color * Mitted ~ along with the point colors there are white either along the belly, and/or paws, and/or face. * Bicolor ~ somewhat a mix of colors in the points * Van Pattern~ a white or color in the shape of a "V" on the middle of the face. Thinking of purchasing a Ragdoll? If you have been considering the purchase of a ragdoll cat or kitten, you may have read about how unique they are as a cat breed. If you already own one, you know of the loving companion that likes to follow you around the house and participate in your daily activities. Not your ordinary cat. If you have owned a cat, you know how independent they can be. Everything is on 'their' terms, and at times it almost seems like they own the house. You see them when they want you to, and they like it that way. - What makes the ragdoll special is the outstanding personality and character traits that it possesses. Routinely, a ragdoll will follow you around and just enjoy watching what you are doing. They have an inquisitive and thoughtful personality that makes for a great companion. Some people compare the personality of a ragdoll to that of a dog, and this is an accurate depiction. It may be the 'man's best friend' of the cat world, with its social behavior and love of attention. - All In All I've had a few Ragdolls at this point, and they have been the best pets I've ever had! I didn't know much about the breed until I got the first male as a kitten. Now I can't stop telling people about them! They are like dream cats! My family got one of our kittens because they couldn't resist our cat! Now my friends want one after seeing them. Now I'm just passing the word around, because I think more people should hear about this breed! Gallery of art and crafts made by Alexandre Michael over the years. Great representation of what can be ordered and custom-made for clients. Everything is for sale and available on my Etsy store. I also do custom orders. Tabla de Tarot Mosaico This end table I picked up on a street corner in San Diego. I stripped it, restained it, added embellishments, and mosaic glass to the top then had glass cut to fit the top. The top has iron hands and crystal balls in the corners while the bottom of the rim has black crystal tassles. Red de dosel de fantasía For this canopy net, I added paper flowers I made, along with jeweled beads, and along the top, I made a floral wrap. The top was strung with wire lights that had a remote control to use them. Pantalla estilo vintage Each lampshade I make is unique. They have paper flowers, crystal trims, various ribbons or lace, and exotic feathers and I sometimes use different fabrics on the insides to create a unique light when the lamp is on. Some fabrics will make the lamp a completely differ color when the lamp is on as opposed to when it's off. Escultura de fertilidad extraterrestre I actually just sculpted this piece as a joke, but it seems to be quite popular at my Etsy store. Which I thought was amusing, so I will be doing more pieces like this in the future. Luz de mosaico solar enmarcada I refurbished this antique frame by repairing the damage and then repainting it. Then I added a back to it and began the mosaic art. Finally, I added lights to it, which completed the piece to make a unique piece of wall art. :) Baraja personalizada Tarot-Oracle - Caja de cristal o runa This box I stained, and added all the embellishments that I special ordered from Europe.
