You are a leaf that doesn't know it's part of a tree.״ - Michael Crichton Our kittens will have a 5-year pedigree with TICA, which will include a detailed history & information on their family line and each cat's registry number. When you pick up a kitten from us, you take your papers & adoption certificate, then transfer their papers into your name. Once you do this with TICA, you can download their pedigree from their portal, along with anything from the registry. Here's a picture of the family tree we have been working on, so on top of the TICA pedigree, you can have ours, which will have each cat's photographs! =) We will be uploading another page soon to display awards, newspaper clippings, commercials, etc., that our cats have been a part of! They develop their colors as they age, but will continue to darken/develop their patterns until they are 2-5 years of age when they reach maturity. Meet Howl Male / Mitted Bicolor Available Howl was the firstborn of his litter, the first to open his eyes, & the first to walk! He's such a sweetheart, and ANY time he sees or hears you, he runs to you to be held. Starting as early as 3 weeks old, he loved being held and never cries for anything! He loves his tummy tickled & will roll onto his back to play with you if you tickle him. He is very chill and affectionate. He loves doing anything and everything you're doing. Meet Spri Male / Mitted Bicolor He's Howl's twin and was the second to be born. He's very sweet, but don't let that fool you; he's feisty and loves to play-fight. He loves to explore and follows us around. He's already started pouncing on his Dad and trying to play-fight him! He's the spunkiest out of the bunch (Only competes with Wolfie on it). He's the first out of the group to go explore as well. (Despite being the runt too!) He's already adopted! She's already adopted! At 3 weeks old Meet Pearl Female / Mitted Bicolor / White Cheeks Pearl is a really sweet girl but loves to play. She has a thick white blaze, then thick white upper cheeks with the seal mask and nose. She follows the boys around & plays the toughest in the litter. She's definitely the Queen of the bunch, but she also loves being affectionate and snuggled with. She takes after her Mom's personality a lot. :) *Note: All names are just nicknames we gave the kittens. Once you place a deposit on a kitten, we'll use the name you give us & we will start calling them by that name. :) Meet Annabelle Female / Mitted Bicolor / White Cheeks Annabelle is the thoughtful one in the litter who always sits back and watches her siblings take things on before she joins in. She's a mama's girl, and definitely a little princess. She loves to sit in your lap and snuggle. One on one time is her favorite thing. She's already adopted! Better pics coming soon Heres Dad. Wolfie will have the same markings as his Dad. Hephaestion is only 2 and will keep getting longer hair, too. Ragdolls take up to 5 years to mature and develop completely. * Show - Quality Meet Wolfie Male / Seal Point / Darkest one of the litter Available We nicknamed him Wolfie because his father's middle name is Wolfgang Amadeus, and he takes after his father with his exact markings! He has pointy ears, with fur extending past the tips like a Lynx or wolf. He loves to play with his brothers, but is often caught caring for and bathing his sisters. He's the pic of the litter and will have show-quality markings. He's mitted, with a white blaze, a white-tipped nose, lynx markings in the seal points, and white stripes under his legs and arms that meet at his white stomach. You can get a good idea of what he will look like by looking at pictures of his father. Note: His Dad will get longer hair as he ages, and he is still young himself. Meet Bella Female / Mitted Seal Point Available Bella is the youngest out of the litter, with dark seal points and a light body. She is the snuggle bug of the litter and will always jump to get into your lap & fall asleep. She loves to snuggle, nuzzle her nose onto yours, & is very curious. She's a Daddy's girl and loves to follow her Dad everywhere. She's one of our favorites because she is so sweet. She loves kissing you and nuzzling her face into yours. How we raise & train our cats . About the breed & much more ~ Inside Our Cattery ~ The parents and all the kittens are raised at my home, free roam, & are a part of the family. They are introduced to kids and other house pets to get them comfortable at a young age. We take them on walks a few times a week, and they go with us on errands, roadtrips, camping, etc. The kittens are dewormed each week and played with every day to ensure a friendly and affectionate kitten. We have a room dedicated just for their nursery, designed their own high end wall maze, have a tunnel maze we set up for their birthdays & holidays. - ( Just to name a few things) - Our Cat's Diet Our cats have a healthy diverse diet of the best premium food. Our cats have access to hard food, but are given soft food as well, and raw food ~ homemade ~ prepared food for a cat's diet, and high quality snacks. :) - Our Cat's Health & Welbeing Our cats have health insurance and regular vet check ups & labwork to give them the upmost attention in their early life. The breeder parents have had DNA testing and negative for FeLV.FIV, T4, BCP, and regular CBC & Urinalysis tests on each vet appt. Our babies get the same treatment as our human children when it comes to their health and diet! W ikipedia~ In the 1960s, a regular non-pedigreed white domestic longhaired cat named Josephine, who had produced several litters of typical cats, was injured in an accident involving a car and taken to a laboratory at the University of California. Josephine was of a Persian/Angora type, sired by several unknown male Birman or Burmese-like cats, one of which had the Siamese point coloration. After she recovered, her next litter produced exceptionally friendly kittens, which Baker claimed was a result of a secret government genetic experiment on Josephine (a claim rejected by genetics experts). When the subsequent litter produced more of the same, Mrs. Ann Baker (an established cat breeder) purchased several kittens from the owner, who lived behind her, and, believing she had something special, set out to create what is now known as the Ragdoll. The breed was selectively bred over many years for desirable traits, such as large size, gentle demeanor, and a tendency to go limp when picked up, as well as the striking, pointed coloration. Out of those early litters came Blackie, an all black Burmese-like male, and Daddy Warbucks, a seal point with white feet. Daddy Warbucks sired the founding bi-color female Fugianna, and Blackie sired Buckwheat, a dark brown/black Burmese-like female. Both Fugianna and Buckwheat were daughters of Josephine. All Ragdolls are descended from Baker's cats through matings of Daddy Warbucks to Fugianna and Buckwheat. Baker, in an unusual move, spurned traditional cat breeding associations. She trademarked the name "Ragdoll," set up her own registry—International Ragdoll Cat Association (IRCA)—and enforced stringent standards on anyone who wanted to breed or sell cats under that name. The Ragdolls were also not allowed to be registered in other breed associations. In 1975, a group led by Denny Dayton broke ranks with IRCA, intending to gain mainstream recognition for the Ragdoll. - A bout the Breed T he defining characteristic of the original Ragdoll is its docile temperament and tendency to go limp when picked up, thought to be due to a genetic mutation or passed down from the Persian and Birman breeds. This has led to the myth that Ragdolls are pain-resistant. Some breeders in Britain have tried to breed away from the limpness due to concerns that extreme docility "might not be in the best interests of the cat." S till, they are generally considered gentle and laid-back animals. The Ragdoll has a sturdy body with a large frame and proportionate legs. A full-grown female weighs 8-15 lbs, while males are substantially larger, ranging from 12 to 20 lbs.[2] The genes for point coloration are also responsible for the blue eyes of the Ragdoll. More intense shades of blue are favored in the show ring. While the breed has a plush coat, it consists mainly of long guard hair, and the lack of a dense undercoat results in, according to the Cat Fanciers' Association, "reduced shedding and matting".[6] Ragdolls come in 6 different colors - seal, chocolate, flame, and the corresponding "dilutes" blue, lilac, and cream. - T he Patterns & Colors T here are three different patterns: * Pointed - One color darkening at the extremities (nose, ears, tail, and paws) * Mitted - Same as pointed, but with white paws and tummy. With or without a blaze (a white line on the face), B icolor — White legs, white inverted 'V' on the face, white tummy, and often white patches on the back. Many people are unfamiliar with the breed "Ragdoll," and even those who know about it often lack detailed knowledge. Some people even think they are just some mix of Siamese. But... they are far from common, and very wonderful cats. What makes them different than all the other cat breeds? - O ther Characteristics Of The Breed 1# They don't shed. They have only one coat in their fur, which allows little or no shedding. Unlike other medium to long-haired cats. Many people buy Persians or other long-haired breeds because they are so soft, and their fur is so beautiful. But...they shed very badly. I've owned a few Persians, and when you touch them, a cloud of fur flies into the air and then into your nose. But with Ragdolls, you get that, but without the shedding. 2# They go limp when you hold them. Like cuddling your cats? Have kids who try to pick them up but get scratched? Ragdolls let you carry them anyway you like. They love hugs, being held on their backs, sides, or any other part of their body. They are the calmest cats you will ever see. 3 # Bringing them to the vet, town, or family house? For most cats, it's a nightmare to bring them in the car to the vet, much less on a leisure trip. Ragdolls enjoy rides. In fact, they follow you to the door and try to come with you every time you leave. M y cat gets in his carrier by the door when we are about to leave. =) You bring them, and they purr, let anyone they see pet them. You can hold them however you like, and even noises that range from carts at the grocery store to cars passing by won't bother them or make them jump out of your arms when they hear them, unlike most cats. Trip to the vet? Ragdolls have a theory that they are pain-resistant. They barely react to much pain (shots, microchips, etc.) They just lay there and watch it happen. They are so easy to care for! - H ow do they react to other animals? 4# Do you have trouble getting your cats to get along with other household animals? Ragdolls think everyone is a playmate! They are sweet and playful with other pets. 5# Like puppies or want a pet that will hang out with you and can take to the park? Ragdolls are known to act like puppies! They follow you from room to room. Sit next to you, and sleep by you! If you're in a room, they are right there with you. Like taking your pets to the park? I bring mine to the park, and he doesn't even need a leash. He just follows me around and plays beside me. (I wouldn't be too comfy without a lease, because kids might try and pick them up, or anything could happen. Just like a dog. So, a leash would probably be a good idea in public.) They love a leisure trip and being with their owners. 6# They are quiet. Their meows are soft and sweet. And they only say something when they need to. - A re They Pretty? 7# Pretty cats? Ragdolls are known for their bright China Blue eyes. And beautiful coats. Their fur resembles a rabbit's, with a pattern and colors consisting of points. They are darker around the ears, feet, face, and tails. Colors can range from creme, seal, chocolate, blue, lilac, and flame points. The rest of the body is lighter. Usually a cream or white. Some have a mix of both. So they make beautiful Cats! - W hat Are Their Size? 8# Cats are too small? Ragdolls range from 10-15 lbs for a female and 15-30 lbs for a male. So they are BIG cats. - A ll Ragdolls are pointed cats. They have color on their ears, faces, legs, and tails, with a lighter contrasting body color. They are usually white or cream. Colors~ * Seal ~ siamese print and color * Blue creme ~ blueish points with creme * Frost ~ light point colors * Chocolate ~ a bit lighter than seal at the points, or dark in the center of the point then fades to a lighter chocolate color. * Tortie ~ Torties can have a variety of colors. A mix of them at the points * Chocolate-Tortie Lynx * Lilic Creme ~ Lilac Points with Creme color in the body * Lilic Point * Red Creme Point ~ a light redish point with Creme in the body * Creme Point * Blue Lynx * Blue Point ~ Blueish points Patterns~ * Colorpoint ~ feet, face, ears, and tail have color * Mitted ~ along with the point colors there are white either along the belly, and/or paws, and/or face. * Bicolor ~ somewhat a mix of colors in the points * Van Pattern~ a white or color in the shape of a "V" on the middle of the face. If you already own one, you know of the loving companion that likes to follow you around the house and participate in your daily activities. T hey are NOT your ordinary cat. If you have owned a cat, you know how independent they can be. Everything is on 'their' terms, and at times it almost seems like they own the house. You see them when they want you to, and they like it that way. - W hat makes the ragdoll special is the outstanding personality and character traits that it possesses. Routinely, a ragdoll will follow you around and just enjoy watching what you are doing. They have an inquisitive and thoughtful personality that makes for a great companion. Some people compare the personality of a ragdoll to that of a dog, and this is an accurate depiction. It may be the 'man's best friend' of the cat world, with its social behavior and love of attention. - A ll In All I 've had a few Ragdolls at this point, and they have been the best pets I've ever had! I didn't know much about the breed until I got the first male "Louie" as a kitten. Now I can't stop telling people about them! They are dream cats! A couple of my family members got one of our kittens then friends, because they couldn't resist the breed after interacting with our first Ragdoll, Louie. We couldn't resist the breed and quickly began passing the word around, because I think more people should hear about this breed! It inspired us to opening our Cattery in 2008 / 2009, and has stayed a passion for us ever since. He trained a variety of animals throughout his life, but while in Alaska, after adopting his Husky, Guinevere, & going through training classes with her, he decided to get his certs with ABC, as well as lifeguard and CPR certifications. Alex grew up in rural Central Louisiana & while his family owned a lot of land, they were self-sustaining, growing all their food, foraging on the land, & had a wide variety of animals, from farm animals and pets to wild animals. Alex has had many extraordinary experiences with animals from early childhood, such as riding wild horses bareback and catching wild snakes, then taming them as pets; He's befriended wild Raccoons, Possums, Squirrels, Birds, Fish, Eagles, Ravens, Moose, & so much more that would continue to come back to visit him, eat from his hand, and be affectionate. All of our breeding cats are tested and cleared for 50 genetic health predispositions. This includes genetic defects found in the Ragdoll breed such as: HCM (Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy) and PKD (Polycystic Kidney Disease). What is Paranormal Investigating, how is it done, what tools are used, and what are the benefits to it? Learn the history and the process of it here! Paranormale Untersuchung „Paranormale Untersuchung“ wird früheren Begriffen wie „Geisteruntersuchung“, „Geisterforschung“ und „Geisterjagd“ vorgezogen. Paranormale Untersuchungen sind umfassender als Geister und Spuk und erstrecken sich auf Sichtungen mysteriöser Kreaturen, dämonischer Aktivitäten, mysteriöser Orte und sogar UFO-Sichtungen. Historischer Überblick Paranormale Untersuchungen umfassen sowohl wissenschaftliche als auch psychische Ansätze. Ermittler schätzen, dass die Mehrzahl aller Berichte über eindringliche Phänomene natürliche Erklärungen haben, wie Licht- und Schattenspiele, besondere atmosphärische Bedingungen, geomagnetische oder elektromagnetische Einflüsse oder Tiergeräusche. Wichtige Beweise waren auch Fotografien, die als Geisterfotografie bezeichnet werden.  Die Parapsychologie, die sich aus der psychischen Forschung entwickelt hat, hat sich auf wissenschaftliche Protokolle konzentriert, die unter kontrollierten Laborbedingungen beobachtet wurden, um PSI, TRÄUME und Psychokinese und verwandte Bereiche zu untersuchen. Psychische Phänomene lassen sich nur schwer auf Abruf reproduzieren. Die Society for Psychical Research (SPR), London, hat Richtlinien für Untersuchungen aufgestellt, wobei die Auswirkungen in fünf Klassifikationen unterteilt sind: 1) unerklärliche Bewegung von Objekten; 2) unerklärliche Geräusche (einschließlich Stimmen und Musik) und Gerüche; 3) Erscheinungen, mysteriöse Lichter und Schatten; 4) unerklärliche Berührungen, Stöße und Hitze- und Kältegefühle; und 5) Gefühle von Angst, Entsetzen, Ekel und von unsichtbaren „Präsenzen“. In den 1990er Jahren änderte sich die Art der paranormalen Untersuchung dramatisch. Eine breitere Palette hochwertiger High-Tech-Geräte ermöglichte es mehr Menschen, anspruchsvollere Forschung zu betreiben. Und die Popularität von Geistern und Geistern ließ die Reihen der Laienforscher anschwellen. Viele Ermittler sind in Gruppen organisiert und haben ihre eigenen Verfahren entwickelt. Idealerweise sollten die Ermittler Tag und Nacht mehr als einen Besuch abstatten, um natürliche Lichter, Schatten und Geräusche zu bestimmen. Karten sollten konsultiert werden, um Verwerfungslinien, Stromleitungen, unterirdische Flüsse, Minen, Tunnel usw. zu zeigen, die dafür verantwortlich sein könnten. Ermittler sollten auch historische Nachforschungen anstellen, beispielsweise über Ereignisse, die in Zeitungen, Zeitschriften und Regierungsdokumenten aufgezeichnet sind; geologische Bedingungen; und Bautätigkeit. Drei grundlegende Untersuchungstechniken werden verwendet: Beschreibung, Experiment und Erkennung. Beschreibung beinhaltet persönliche Beobachtungen und die Aufnahme von Augenzeugenberichten. Zeugen sollten getrennt befragt werden, um eine gegenseitige Beeinflussung der Aussagen zu vermeiden. Neben Angaben zum Erlebnis werden Zeugen gebeten, Angaben zu ihren Lebensumständen, ihrem Gesundheitszustand und ihrem Gemütszustand zu machen; ggf. Vorkenntnisse über ähnliche Erfahrungen; und alle früheren paranormalen Erfahrungen oder okkulten Aktivitäten. Ermittler müssen bedenken, dass bei der Rekonstruktion eines Erlebnisses jeder Zeuge dasselbe Erlebnis ganz anders sehen kann. Various entities will respond to specific gear while others may get picked up on others Video 8-Channel Digital Video Recorder System - This system is used to connect each of our infrared (night vision) cameras. These cameras are stationed in various areas throughout a location to record video onto a digital video recorder, which can be reviewed for evidence during the investigation or at a later time. Full-Spectrum Camcorders/Full-Spectrum Lights/IR Lights - Several of our camcorders can record in both Full-Spectrum Lighting and Infrared Lighting (or night vision). During an investigation, these light settings will assist us in recording different spectrums of light that cannot be seen with the naked eye. Full Spectrum Action Camera - Similar to a GoPro, this camcorder is smaller and modified to record in full spectrum. It can be used both as a handheld and a stationary camera. Regular Light Camcorder - This is a regular camcorder that can record in visible light throughout our investigations. Xavee 108-LED IR Illuminator - This illuminator features 108 LED lights, providing infrared lighting for stationary cameras up to 150 feet, which can be useful for larger rooms or long corridors. The illuminator is mounted onto a tripod with a stationary camcorder. Audio Digital Voice Recorders - Our team uses a variety of digital voice recorders. Because each recorder has its own level of frequency, we believe it's essential to use various makes and models, which allow us to capture EVPs (electronic voice phenomena) that may occur at one specific frequency but not another. ITC Devices TC Devices, also known as Instrumental Transcommunication Devices, are devices that utilize various methods to facilitate real-time communication with spirits. SB-7 Spirit Box/External Speaker - The SB-7 spirit box is a device that cycles through AM or FM radio frequencies to create white noise. It is theorized that spirits can communicate through this white noise and can be heard in real-time thus allowing for conversations to take place audibly. The radio frequencies can be adjusted for AM, FM, forward and reverse and for a number of speeds. SB-11 Spirit Box/Speaker - The SB-11 functions similarly to the SB-7 although it adds a 2nd cycle of radio frequencies to allow for additional white noise to be used and communicated through. EMF Detectors Spirits are said to both emit and utilize electromagnetic fields, or EMFs. Based on this theory, our team uses various instruments designed to detect and measure electromagnetic fields (EMF) and changes in EMF in the environment. Mel Meter - The Mel Meter serves two main functions: (1) detects EMF (electromagnetic fields) in the environment and (2) provides current temperature readings. We use the model MEL-8704-R as a handheld device to monitor fluctuations or changes in both EMF and temperature. Trip Wire - This device has become the team's most popular item used on each investigation. The wire is equipped with 10 EMF sensors, spaced 14 inches apart, that illuminate in various colors when they detect a change in the room's magnetic field. Our team has used this device to help detect when a spirit is moving within the room being investigated, as well as answering questions asked by lighting up the device based on the determined response to yes or no. EDI Meter/EDI+ Meter - This device simultaneously measures changes in EMF and temperature, and utilizes a built-in geophone to detect vibrations, providing both visual and auditory alarms to indicate changes. This can be used to demonstrate a presence when changes are observed in all three gauges on the meter simultaneously. The newer version, the EDI+, provides recording of readings and, in addition to the EDI Meter, the EDI+ includes Air Pressure and Humidity readings. K2 Meter - The K2 meter is a controversial piece of equipment in paranormal investigations as it measures EMF; however, it is easily set off and can give erroneous readings. For this reason, we use the K2 Meter in conjunction with our Mel Meters and EDI meter. If we are getting multiple abnormal readings on multiple pieces of equipment, then this holds more weight than just using a K2 meter. Dead Bell - The Dead Bell is a newer item added to our investigations. Used to detect energy shifts, this device was created with a 'natural' magnet that allows the device to differentiate between the energy of a spirit vs energy generated by other electronic devices, such as a walkie-talkie, thereby allowing for more confirmed contact with a spirit. When an EMF change is detected, the bell will ring, similar to a bell found at a front desk of a hotel. REM Pod - The REM Pod is a circular device with an antenna. When the antenna is extended, it generates its own field, and when broken, it will alarm and illuminate. This device has been helpful in communicating and documenting the presence of activity. Motion Detectors Motion Alarm - Typically used as a security device, the motion alarm gives an audible sound when something passes in front of it, such as a spirit. The sound of the motion alarm can be set as a small chime or a loud alarm, depending on the location of the investigators. Music Box - A favorite tool among our team and event guests, this device is more than just a typical motion detector. Shooting out 10 feet, in a ray-like position, the sensor (located in front of the music box) detects the presence of something passing by, registers the temperature of the presence, and signals the music box to play a song. Spirit Balls - Spirit balls (or cat toys, as some refer to them) are motion-activated toys that illuminate in multiple colors when touched or rolled. These items are among the team's most popular devices, used when investigating locations that require minimal equipment or housing children's spirits. Other Equipment GS2 Laser Grid - This device is used for motion detection and environmental changes, and can be positioned on a tripod or used independently. The device will conduct a baseline reading of the room. It will provide alerts when detecting motion and/or temperature fluctuations, as well as give the distance and direction of the spirit in the room. Shadow Detector - This device measures a light field; when a shadow breaks that light field, an LED light turns on, alerting to shadow movement. This can be used to detect movement of an entity or a shadow figure in a given area. Static Detector - This device measures changes in both positive and negative static electricity. When negative static increases, the LED light dims, and when positive static increases, the LED light brightens. This is another tool to measure energy changes that may occur when spirits are present. Quad - 3 pieces of equipment rolled into one; this tool detects EMF changes, temperature fluctuations, and vibrations. Most often placed onto a hard surface, this piece of equipment can detect very subtle changes in the environment and the smallest of vibrations due to its high sensitivity. This can be used to detect both unheard and heard footsteps and can be used to attempt to elicit communication through touching or tapping on the device. 2-Way Radios - Our team utilizes 2-way radios as a means of staying in communication while setting up equipment for an investigation and throughout the investigation. He bathes her when she is having difficulty, and he alsways lets the female cats eat first so they get enough foo, before he will eat. He's such a gentleman! He's also a baker! He loves making biscuits so much, that we are actually training him to bake in the kitchen, which he has really enjoyed! Hepheastion's favorite thing to do is make biscuits on my chest while he tries to nurse on my eye, then he nuzzles my face as much as possible before he falls asleep holding me with his arms wrapped around my neck. Always believe in yourself.” – Charlie Wardle. Although most people are familiar with the term "life coaching," the field of coaching encompasses several unique specializations. In addition to general life coaching, there are dozens of other coaching categories that capture the most common personal and professional goals. The following list contains some of the most common kinds of coaching: Coaching Vs Therapy What are the differences? Coaching vs. therapy: Do you need a coach, a therapist, or both? “Your vision will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakens.” Carl Jung, psychiatrist We’re all on a journey. However, the journey to self-actualization isn’t linear, nor can it be easily categorized. We are all on a path of learning and self-discovery, where we explore our direction, relationships with family and those around us, our careers, interests, hobbies, beliefs, and faith in the world around us. We each bring a unique perspective, background, and experience to our own journey of personal growth and development. At different times and stages, we require different types of support. Oftentimes, this depends on what is happening in our lives and what we’re trying to accomplish. Sometimes we’re bettering, sometimes we’re surviving, sometimes we’re struggling. You may be seeking support for yourself, trying to support a team member, or an entire organization. However, when it comes to finding the proper support, it helps to understand what support entails. For many, it starts with this question. What’s the difference between coaching and therapy? Coaching versus therapy may appear to be a binary distinction. It can feel like a forked road, a choice that leads you down a singular path. However, when we examine the differences between coaching and therapy, there are several gray areas. It’s not as clear-cut as it seems. In fact, paths can cross. Paths can intersect and work in tandem with one another. And sometimes, you can hop off one path and follow the other. Oftentimes, these paths lead to the same destination: a better you. Coaching vs. therapy Therapists are trained mental health professionals with the goal of treating mental illness. We know that mental health is a spectrum. Some people exist in more severe areas, while others are experiencing moderate or mild symptoms of mental health issues. Regardless of where you are on the scale, if you’re living with a mental illness, enlist the support of a therapist. A trained therapist will be able to help devise a personalized mental health care plan for you, refer you to a psychiatrist if the patient is in need, or request medication, and so on. What can make this more confusing is that both psychologists and licensed mental health counselors, also known as life coaches, may provide therapy or be referred to as therapists. Therapists require more education and credentialing Because psychotherapy requires medical professionals to diagnose and treat mental health problems, there are additional licensing requirements. This is another key difference between a coach and a therapist. Psychotherapists generally have to pass licensing boards, some of which are specific to the state in which they practice. Therapists and psychotherapists typically hold higher levels of professional education, such as a master’s degree or a doctorate. Some are licensed clinical social workers, like my therapist. While each training program differs based on specialization, therapists require higher credentials. Most coaches are trained, licensed professionals There are many types of coaches. Don’t worry: professional coaches don’t go without professional training. But there are different credential requirements (and governing bodies) when it comes to the world of coaching. Coaches are professionally trained and certified by various colleges and will hold certifications in their training and studies from accredited schools. Most will have business licenses that cover their practices as well. But coaching is not a substitute for therapy. Coaching can certainly feel like a therapeutic relationship. After all, you're working one-on-one to solve your problems. But if you’re living with a mental health condition, also seek out the support of a therapist. Many coaches will maintain a local resource list to provide and help their clients find assistance and support for surrounding therapists and/or psychiatrists. I stripped it, restained it, added embellishments, and mosaic glass to the top then had glass cut to fit the top. The top has iron hands and crystal balls in the corners while the bottom of the rim has black crystal tassles. Fantasie-Baldachin-Netz For this canopy net, I added paper flowers I made, along with jeweled beads, and along the top, I made a floral wrap. The top was strung with wire lights that had a remote control to use them. Lampenschirm im Vintage-Stil Each lampshade I make is unique. They have paper flowers, crystal trims, various ribbons or lace, and exotic feathers and I sometimes use different fabrics on the insides to create a unique light when the lamp is on. Some fabrics will make the lamp a completely differ color when the lamp is on as opposed to when it's off.
